The Family Law Center 1115 Congress, Houston,Tx 77002
This is where the foreclosure auction is held. Don't let your property end up here!
Here's how it works. When you receive the Notice of Trustee Sale, your property will be scheduled for auction which happens on the first Tuesday of every month regardless of holidays in the State of Texas. In Harris County the auction takes place at The Family Law Center on 1115 Congress downtown and in other counties this normally takes place at the courthouse.
When your property gets sold, investors normally show up on the spot ready to evict you with no questions asked! Investors look at your property as an investment and work in a network. Alot of times these scoundrels have look out agents spying on your property while the auction is going on, so they immediately evict you once confirmation of sale is obtained.
If your property does not sell then it is rescheduled for the next months auction. Assuming that no investor buys the property, it will end up with the bank and become what is known as an R.E.O or Real Estate Owned property.

Bankruptcy
Lastly, please note that some homeowners feel that filing for bankruptcy is a way out of foreclosure but it is the worst thing as basically you are trying to postpone the inevitable. All bankruptcy does is put you in more debt and blemish your record. Over the years we tend to see that when homeowners file bankruptcy, they end up filing more than once which we strongly advise against. Please be aware of the negative repercussions that may follow if you choose this route.
